Xander Zellner works at the intersection of music, data, audience behavior and digital culture at Billboard.

Since joining the company in 2016, he has helped launch and manage many of the company’s weekly music charts, including those for Songwriters, Producers, Dance/Electronic, Emerging Artists, and the Artist 100. His work focuses on identifying and contextualizing music trends, spotlighting emerging talent and telling stories in music through data.

Beyond the charts themselves, he oversees @billboardcharts across social platforms, helping grow it into one of Billboard’s largest and most engaged digital brands. He regularly writes chart analyses, trend pieces and industry coverage spanning streaming, artist discovery and consumer behavior across all genres.

Originally from Washington, D.C. and Kansas City, he graduated from Ohio University with a degree in journalism and now lives in Brooklyn, New York.
